Salon Roi is a beautifully restored four story historic townhouse, within walking distance of two major Washington hotels (Omni Shorham and Marriot Wardman Park). The Salon is near the intersection of Calvert Street and Connecticut Avenue in Northwest Washington’s Woodley Park (two blocks from the Washington National Zoo).One second from the Woodley park/zoo/Adams Morgan metro station; Salon Roi is known to many Washingtonians as the site of the landmark mural of the legendary film star Marilyn Monroe, which graces the upper levels of the Salon’s southern exterior wall, which was putted by artist John Bailey in 1980 for Mr. Roi Barnard’s 40th birthday.
